The Commission was composed of nine (9) members, distinguished scientists, appointed by the Prime minister for a term of five years. On the 30th October 2014, the fourth composition was appointed.

Charalampos Chrisanthakis, Professor of Administrative Law and Institutions, Law School, University of Athens.

Georgios Vasilaros, Associate Professor of Ancient Greek Literature, School of Philosophy, University of Athens.

Eusevios Pistolis, Metropolitan of Samos and Ikaria.

Kotsabasi AthinaProfessor of La, Law School, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

 

Christodoulos Stefanadis, Professor of Cardiology, Medical School, University of Athens, resigned from his position as President of the HNBC on the 4th September 2015 (ΦΕΚ Υ.Ο.Δ.Δ. 673 - 16.09.2015).

Eleni Rethimniotaki,  Assistant Professor of Law, Law School, University of Athens, was assigned as President (ΦΕΚ Υ.Ο.Δ.Δ. 30 - 26.01.2017), in replacement of Christodoulos Stefanadis who resigned.

Andreas Karabinis, Professor of Emergency Medicine, University of Athens, was assigned as member (ΦΕΚ Υ.Ο.Δ.Δ. 85 - 23.02.2017), in replacement of Eleni Rethimniotaki who was assigned as President.

Ioannis Karakostas, Emeritus Professor of Law, Law School, University of Athens, resigned from his position as President of the HNBC.
